Sony Xperia Z1 compact which was showcased at the CES 2014 is now officially listed on the Sony India website for a price tag of Rs. 36,990.Specs include,
Sony Xperia Z1 compact weighs just around 137 grams and is 9.5mm thick. It houses a 4.3 screen with TRILUMINOS display with a resoluion of 1280 x 720 pixels.
Z1 compact runs on Android 4.3(will get kitkat hopefully). It is powered by MSM8974 qualcomm quad core chipset clocked at 2.2 GHz coupled with Adreno 330 GPU.
Boasting an amazing camera of 20.7MP resolution (AF) with LED flash and 1080p recording.The front cam of 2MP resolution can also record videos in 1080p resolution.
This handset comes with an Micro-SIM slot wwhich will definitely piss the dual sim fans.
The Xperia Z1 compact is IP58 certified that makes is water resistant up to 1 meter and dust proof. Other features are 3G , 2G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC and GPS. RAM is 2GB and internal storage is 16GB with 64GB expandable memory.
Non-removable battery is of 2300 mAh capacity is on board promising talk time of up to 18 hours on 3G and 10 hours on the 2G networks.
This handset would be classified as the 'true mini' of any flagship.Truly a remarkable handset by the Japanese giant. Am definitely interested to get a hands on it ASAP.
